Rhyncholaeliocattleya Mary Fisk
A fragrant hybrid of Rlc. Rainbow × Rlc. Suzuki's Red Flare, bearing medium-sized Cattleya-type flowers with broad sepals and petals and a compact trilobed lip with a vivid warm-toned throat — a uniformly warm-toned floral presentation in rich coral and orange hues. It grows as a compact plant with slender pseudobulbs and narrow leaves, well suited to smaller growing spaces.
- Light: Bright indirect light with 30–50% shade cloth; good light levels are essential for reliable blooming.
- Temperature: 65–86°F (18–30°C); a Warm grower with a minimum tolerance around 60°F (16°C).
- Humidity: 50–70%; tolerates moderate humidity with good air circulation.
- Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the medium to dry out between waterings; reduce watering slightly after new growth matures.
Additional Notes
Grow in a well-draining bark mix in a pot sized to the root system. Bright light and a slight temperature drop at night encourage blooming. Plants are shipped bare root and well-established.
