Paphiopedilum Doug Kennedy

A complex multifloral Paphiopedilum hybrid of Paph. Enzan Win Fire × Paph. Yi-Ying Colorful Clouds, combining the vigorous multifloral habit and bold, richly patterned flowers of both parents. It produces multiple large blooms per stem with striking coloration and a commanding presence.

  • Light: Low to medium indirect light with 50–70% shade cloth; avoid direct sun to protect the foliage.
  • Temperature: 55–75°F (13–24°C). Intermediate grower; benefits from a slight temperature drop at night to encourage blooming.
  • Humidity: 60–80%; ensure good air circulation to prevent crown rot.
  • Watering: Keep the substrate evenly moist; never allow to dry out completely, but avoid waterlogging. Use soft or rainwater when possible.

Additional Notes

Best grown in a fine bark and perlite mix in a plastic pot. Ships bare root, well-established. Grown at Ecuagenera, Ecuador.
